Our Story

My aim is to build a personalised profile of each customer in order to keep track of the profile of the wines they like, and refine their future purchases.  As a new client, we would love you to purchase one of our 6 or 12-bottle sample cases and there are three price points to choose from.  Please head to the Shop section of our site for further details.  The aim is to supply a wide range of wines in these cases, covering many different styles to allow us to get a good initial idea of your taste. These cases can be altered to suit your needs and preferences of colour, style and season.

We will keep you updated as and when new and exciting wines come online, and we will thrive on your feedback so we can continue to supply you with the right wines at the right price, as and when you need them.

I founded Focus Wines in the summer of 2020, when I decided to indulge what has been a 15-year passion – wine! I have long been collecting and sampling wines, purchasing and developing a great personal collection from a network of trusted vineyards, merchants and suppliers.  By setting up Focus Wines, I can now share this network and knowledge, focussing on wines that I’ve personally selected. All of these wines would and do happily rest in my cellar at home. 

Most of our wines sit in the £15-£40 bracket. I have built up a real knowledge of wines that fall into this price point, which I feel provides great quality without breaking the bank. Wines that punch well above their weight and are ideal for drinking now or storing for later. Italy is a country that will feature heavily, mainly as it’s my area of speciality, but this will by no means be the only country to appear in our portfolio at Focus Wines. We also have a wide selection of wines from France, Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Australia and the USA as well as some great English Sparkling wines.
