One of the best value Bordeaux wines for many years, Château Les Cruzelles is made by the late Denis Durantou, famed for producing outstanding quality wines from Bordeaux and the surrounding regions. Les Cruzelles is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc and is just north of medium bodied with lovely supple tannins. The fruit is quite rich and plum like with a really silky texture. Excellent wine to drink young with a good two hour decant or cellar until at least 2030 and probably a little beyond. Enjoy with beef, lamb, game or poultry
