Conti Costanti Vermiglio Rosso di Montalcino 2019
Rosso di Montalcino - Tuscany - Italy
ABV - 14.5%
There are two main wines from Montalcino is Tuscany, Brunello being the top wines and Rosso the entry level offerings. This wine sits between the two in classification, but I can assure you, it tastes vastly superior to many Brunellos I’ve tried over the years. Many Brunellos need years before they are ready to drink but this wine is open for business with a good couple of hours decanting. Sangiovese at it’s finest with earthy soft cherry-driven fruit. Classy wine from an excellent producer - highly recommended
