An interesting white made from the little known Erbaluce grape in Northern Piedmont. The wine is straw yellow in the glass, very aromatic and floral on the nose. On the palate, this a fresh tasting medium to light bodied wine with plenty of structure, acidity and lovely citrus flavours rounded off with a hint of buttery tasting fruit. A little like a halfway house between Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Drink with light vegetarian or fish Pasta dishes, soft cheese and cured meats.
